Responsible Down Standard or RDS It is an independent, voluntary and global standard for responsible down sourcing. The RDS was developed with the support of animal rights groups, industry experts and retailers. This standard ensures traceability of the product at every stage, from the farm to the product itself. Thanks to this, customers can be sure that the down and feathers in the products they choose are RDS certified.
Global Organic Textile Standard or GOTS It is the world's leading standard for certifying textile products. The GOTS certificate covers all stages of production of products made of natural fabrics (from the raw material to the finished product). It also takes into account social and environmental issues.
There are two main categories of the GOTS certificate:
• ORGANIC (organic) - this label is awarded to products that consist of at least 95% of certified organic fibres,
• MADE WITH (X%) ORGANIC (manufactured using (x%) organic raw materials) - the product must contain a minimum of 70% of certified organic fibers, allowing a maximum of 10% of synthetic fibers. For the production of socks, leggings and sportswear, up to 25% of synthetic fibers are used.
Global Recycled Standard or GRS It is an international, voluntary standard that defines the requirements for the certification of recycled fibers. The goal of the GRS program is to increase the use of recycled materials while caring for the environment, social conditions, or control of the chemicals used that are safe for humans and the environment.
